Gourmet Coffee – How to make it yourself!
It’s been awhile since my last post! Between work, vacation, travelling and studying, time has slipped away from me. There are a lot of experiences, ideas, and information I want to share with you all, but those will take a bit of time to write and collect. But do know, I’m loving my Health Coaching program, had an awesome time in Mexico for IFES World Assembly, and am excited to be back in Cayman to see what God has in store!
So, in the meantime while I gather myself and get caught up on everything, I want to share an easy recipe for Gourmet coffee a few friends shared with me. This recipe made coffee in the morning so much more than just caffeine to wake up. It made my coffee a delightful treat to enjoy while praying/reading my Bible and starting the day off with some quiet reflection and a warm cup of delight.
So, for all the coffee lovers out there, prepare yourself for this lovely treat you can enjoy as often as you like!
Gourmet Coffee
Ingredients:
- Brewed coffee of any kind (choose your favorite brand and type)
- Coconut milk OR Coconut Oil OR Almond Milk
- Cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, or all spice (Optional – I tend to just use Cinnamon)
- Blender
Recipe:
- Pour your Brewed coffee in the blender
- Take either your coconut milk, almond milk, or coconut oil and add it to the coffee
- Take any of the spices above and add a touch to the contents in the Blender
- Blend for about 5-10 seconds until you see the coffee turn light brown (the color it turns when you add milk).
- You should then see froth on the top of the coffee
- Pour blended coffee into a coffee cup, sprinkle any of the spices you prefer on top, and drink up!
Bon appetit!
